A la Bouffe is a family run restaurant providing French Cuisine to Johannesburg, prepared by multi-award winning French Chef  Patron, Romuald Denesle, using locally supplied produce with the help of his wife, Margeux Denesle and Father in Law, Dennis Rhodes Human.

Romuald Denesle has worked under Marc Chalopin at Charlot Roi des Coquillages and at Louis Grondard’s two-star Michelin Restaurant, Drouant before moving to the UK where he worked as Sous Chef at the Michelin starred restaurant Fleur de Sel, Dalhousie Castle and Senior Sous Chef at Ardeonaig Hotel on Loch Tay.

He brings his French flair and experience to Johannesburg for all patrons to enjoy.
